Week 7

Week 7

For me, numbers 2 and 3 are the most meaningful.

2. begin with the end in mind.

I think I am really good at starting something because I am interested in many things. The problem is I lose those interests so quickly. Because of that, it is so hard for me to finish. I just quit. I want to see the fruit right after what I stated. For example, I started working out, and I made a goal for it, but I just quit because I didn't see my body didn't change. It is so hard for me to keep doing without seeing the fruit from my work. Because of that, I have to have the mindset of beginning with the end in mind. I think if I work on this habit, I would be able to grow as a person and a leader.

3. first things first.

I always struggle with this. I usually know what is the most important thing for me. I do put the first thing on the top of my plan. However, I get into other things so easily. There is a talk given by Elder Oaks. It is "Good, better, best." I really like this talk. It helps me remember what is the most important thing to me. I am a student, so my first thing would be studying other than hanging out and being in the social meeting. However, studying is boring, so I push this back to my appointment with my friends. After that, I don't have enough time to study. I feel bad because I know this period of time is for me to focus on studying. Because of this reason, I think this habit is something that I need to have in near future.

Personally, I really liked the ideas of 7 habits. Those are something that is really good for everyone to work on. If I have all of those habits, I wouldn't have problems with myself and others as well. When I started to have private victory, it will cause public victory. Also, if you want to have a public victory, you need to prepare yourself, so eventually, you can have the victory. When you master to have these 7 habits, you will be able to distinguish what is good for you or not. I will try to have those habits one by one.
